    Dr. Priscilla Heredia

    Dr. Priscilla Heredia was born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas. She was an honors graduate of Eagle Pass High School in 2007. She attended the University of Houston and the University of Texas at San Antonio where she was a UTSA cheerleader, a member of the Baptist Student Ministries and Golden Key National Honor Society. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2011.

    Dr. Heredia then attended the University of Houston College of Optometry where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Optometrists, National Optometric Student Association, and the Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity.

    She completed her internships in San Antonio, Texas at Lackland Air Force Base and the South Texas Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Upon graduation, Dr. Heredia joined her father, Dr. Carlos E. Rodriguez in his eye care practice serving Maverick and surrounding counties for over 30 years.

    Dr. Heredia is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist and is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is also currently a member of the American Optometric Association and Texas Optometric Association.

    In her spare time, Dr. Heredia enjoys spending time with family, reading, boating, and skiing.

    Dr. Lizett J Martinez

    Dr. Martinez was born and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas. She received her bachelor's in Biology and Vision Science from the University of the incarnate Word in 2014. She later received her Doctor of Optometry from the Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2022. During her time in optometry school, she dedicated some of her time to missionary work with the AldersgateMethodist Church to help provide free eye exams and glasses to the underserved populations in El Tigre, Panama, and surrounding areas. She completed one of her clinical rotations in Fort Worth, Texas at the community Eye Care Clinic with a primary focus on ocular disease, glaucoma management, and specialty contact lenses. Her second clinical rotation was in North Miami, Florida at the Eye Centers of South Florida with a primary focus on primary care, ocular disease, and ocular surgery co-management.

    While in school, Dr. Martinez actively participated in the StudentVolunteer Optometric Services in Humanity (SVOSH), Fellowship of ChristianOptometrists (FCO), and the American Society of Optometric Surgeons (ASOS).

    Dr. Martinez is a therapeutic optometrist and certified glaucoma specialist. She is also a member of the Texas Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. Outside of optometry, Dr. Martinez's top priority is spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, running, hiking, and working out.
