Dr. Rodriguez received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Houston. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He completed his internship at the Medical College of Georgia, and his residency in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University Eye Center in New Orleans.
Dr. Rodriguez served the city of Eagle Pass and surrounding counties as an ophthalmic physician and surgeon for over 30 years before retiring. He now serves as CEO and administrator of the two-location practice. He uses his spare time to pursue his passion of hunting and other outdoor activities, and spending time with his family.
